Our Company (Jenco Electrical Ltd) was formed by Andy Jenner and Kevin Cornelius in September 2014 being a combination of two local electrical contractors, CAF Butchers & Son Ltd who were established in July 1958 and T M Brown Electrical Ltd who were established in 1972.
We specialize in all areas of domestic, commercial and industrial electrical installation.
Jenco was formed with the aim of maintaining employment for the fourteen members of staff within the two companies, making us one of the largest electrical contractors in the area. This means we can continue to provide an excellent level of service to previous and prospective customers alike.
We are a very close net and hard working team, and hold 3 members of one family within our new employment. This is another reason why Jenco was formed, to continue the legacy started by the founders of the previous companies more than 50 years ago. In fact, Mr C A F Butchers is the father and grandfather of 3 of the Jenco team.
What have we achieved year to date
We have become one of the largest electrical contractors in the area
Around 400 jobs are completed each year.
- Specialist installations include car showrooms for some of the worlds leading car manufactures.
Large contracts undertaken with HMD pumps in Eastbourne, Great Dixter house, Shearbarn Holiday Park and Collins and Hayes furniture and many other local companies.
Helped raise in excess of £300.00 for cancer research UK by sponsoring one of our employees in the Hastings half marathon, and over £1200.00 was raised when the JenCo team completed the London to brighton bike ride for the British Heart Foundation.
Through combining the experience and knowledge instilled within 2 previous companies, we are able to draw from the benefits of sharing best practices within the Jenco team. A further result of this is that Jenco has an already established client base. Many of our loyal customers know and request our operatives on a first name basis.
We pride ourselves on building a rapport with our clients as past experience shows that they are more likely to recommend us to family and friends. People are comfortable allowing us access to their property and most important or all, they trust Jenco to complete a job to the highest of standards.
Furthermore, as everyday electrical installers, the environment is at the forefront of all the work we undertake. Energy emissions can be reduced not only through the use of solar but we can also advise our customers, where possible on other ways in which they can become more energy efficient though the use of LED lighting and other low energy electrical devices.
As a new employer born from old, we believe in investment in our future. We always employ at least one apprentice who we hope will be part of our highly skilled workforce in years to come, passing on his knowledge and experience to another generation.
We monitor our customer and staff satisfaction, mainly through communication.
Our members of staff are highly skilled within their roles but we believe that excellent communication is key to both satisfaction within our workforce and our client base.
We operate in an open office environment where any issues that arise are discussed and dealt with at the earliest opportunity. Although we are a new business, many of our staff members have known and worked together for many years and some are related meaning we are literally like a family.
Our electricians do their upmost to talk to customers and ensure they are fully aware of the ins and outs of the work we will be completing and advising them of the best course of action for each individual scenario. This ensures that issues very seldom arise but when they do we deal with them quickly and effectively to reach a satisfactory outcome for the client.
